  A Colorful and Patriotic Republic Day Celebration at Marathi Shala Preparations and Decorations Set the Stage Date: Jan 27, 2024 Today, Marathi Shala was not just a place of learning but a vibrant hub of patriotism and cultural pride. Our dedicated volunteers and teachers began their preparation work yesterday evening, adorning the space with tricolor balloons and strings. This morning, they added more decorations, including the Indian and American flags, creating an environment that truly elevated the spirit of 'Desh Bhakti'. The Festive Atmosphere and Scholar Participation As patriotic songs filled the air, our Batch 1 scholars arrived at 10 am, ready to dive into the day's activities. The session began with a homework check on fun facts about the Ram Mandir, followed by a recap of all the Swar ( अ [a], आ [aa], इ [i], ई [ii], उ [u], ऊ [oo], ए [e], ऐ [ai], ओ [o], औ [au], अं [am], अः [a:]) and Vyanjane ( क [k], ख [kh], ग [g], घ [gh], च [ch], छ

  A Day of Marathi Learning and Cultural Exploration at Marathi Shala Energetic Beginnings and Cultural Insights Date: Jan 20 th 2024. Today's Marathi Shala classes for both batches were a blend of enthusiastic learning, cultural insights, and new beginnings. Our Batch 1 class commenced at 10:08 AM with full attendance, welcoming several new and energetic faces. Starting with Devotion and Warm-Up The class began with the serene 'Gurur Brahma Gurur Vishnu' song, setting a tone of reverence and respect. A Day of Learning and Fun at MH Marathi Shala Embracing Language on a Cold Winter Morning Date: 1/14/2024 Yesterday's MH Marathi Shala class was a testament to the joy and dedication that language learning can bring, even on a chilly winter morning. Our Batch 1 class commenced at 10:10 AM, filled with the enthusiasm of our young scholars ready to dive into the depths of the Marathi language. Warming Up with Kavayat The day began with a warm-up activity led by our teacher, Amita Ji. The Kavayat session was not just a physical warm-up but also a way to awaken the minds of our little scholars from their sleepy state. Our Batch 1 scholars, arriving around 10:10 am, were greeted with an invigorating warm-up activity led by our esteemed teacher volunteer, Amita Ji. This initiative was not only a great way to energize our scholars and volunteers on a chilly morning but also a perfect icebreaker. The attached picture captures the essence of this lively start. Recap and Progress in Marathi Language The session for Batch 1 progressed with a thorough recap of all the Marathi Swar (vowels). We then revisited the first two Vyanjane (consonants) and introduced a few more: क [k] and ख [kh].
