 MH Marathi Shala Rules and Parent's Responsibilities

Here's a comprehensive list of rules and responsibilities for parents whose children attend our MH Marathi Shala.

Marathi Shala Rules:

  • Attendance: Regular attendance is mandatory for consistent learning.
  • Punctuality: Students should arrive 5 minutes before the scheduled class time and be picked up on time when the class ends.
  • Dress Code: Casual but respectful attire is encouraged.
  • Behavior: Students must behave respectfully with teachers, volunteers and fellow students.
  • Class Materials: All class materials should be brought to every session.
  • No Outside Food: Except for water, no food or beverages are allowed in the class.
  • Safety: Running, horseplay, or any unsafe activities are not allowed.
  • Cell Phones: All cell phones should be turned off or set to silent during class.
  • Liability: Parents are required to sign a liability waiver form for participation in the school's activities.


Parent's Responsibilities:

  • Pickup and Drop: Ensure that your child is dropped off and picked up on time.
  • Marathi Language Exposure: Use Marathi as a mode of communication at home to encourage daily practice.
  • Check Homework: Regularly check and assist with Marathi Shala homework assignments.
  • Consistency: Make sure your child consistently attends the class to ensure smooth learning.
  • Cultural Engagement: Celebrate Marathi festivals and traditions at home.
  • Connect with Relatives: Encourage your children to speak in Marathi with relatives to boost their confidence.
  • Parent Meetings: Attend all parent meetings to keep track of your child’s progress.
